I've been an artist most of my life and took up writing and painting with acrylics on wood during my twenties. My first book, a compilation of children's stories was published in the mid 90's.
After several years of working and exhibiting my paintings on both sides of the Atlantic, I attended the University of North Carolina, Asheville, and Graphic Design at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C.
Working as a photographer only really took off once the digital age became mainstream. I am basically self taught in that field. Combined with what I learned at university and what I have learned since, I am able to explore and expand my creativity in exciting ways, as well as keeping a straightforward and classic approach to photography itself.
France is where I now pursue my craft full time. I won the prize for the public's favorite artist in my category at the Tronjoly Castle exhibit in Brittany in June '11. I sell my work through the internet, craft shows, exhibitions and by private commissions.
